  Born in the Newark, New Jersey, Coppa was the middle child of his brothers and sisters in his family. During the era when the hip hop culture was establishing it’s place in history and beginning to come to the fore front of music. Being exposed early in life to rap and the hip hop culture, it was expected that Coppa would pick up an interest to it in some way. No one knew it would have such a enormous impact on his life. At a young age his parents split up and went their separate ways. Wanting to keep his family together Coppa stayed with his brothers and sister in Newark with his mother. After a couple of months his mother was incarcerated Coppa, and his siblings where placed in foster homes where he moved from home to home in poor neighborhoods. That when Coppa decide he would survive the best way he knew how Hustle. After a year or two Coppa and his bothers decided they would go stay with his farther in Georgia. Not wanting to Coppa had to leave his oldest sister in Newark Trapped in the system. After living in Georgia for a year Coppa’s farther decide to move his family to Ft. Lauderdale Florida where Coppa thought that he would make his home. After living in Ft. Lauderdale and attending school there Coppa farther decide to move his family to the suburbs of Miramar Florida where Coppa could finally call home. Living in Miramar Coppa was able to get back to his root which was rapping and Miramar made it easy because the neighborhood has the similar style of Newark.

     With influences such as Biggie Smalls, Nas, Jay-Z, Lost Boyz, Fabolous, Posterboy, Philly’s most wanted, Mase, Shyne, Jadakiss, Jae millz and Jaehood. Coppa would write verses to their songs and rap it when their songs where played on the radio. It wasn't until his Freshman year in high school when he was inspired by his peers to start to write his own verses as a part of a group he started known as Spades. Over the remainder of his freshman year in high school Coppa would rap at battles and get togethers with other rappers so that he could improve his style as an artist and that how he devolped the name Coppa it was said that when he battled he would lock the competition down. During his sophomore year Coppa joined another rap group called Knock Squad who is lead by PluzWun. While with the Knock Squad for his Junior and Senior year in high school Coppa would watch and emulate every move Pluzwun would make so that he could start and lead his own company to the top. While with the Knock Squad Coppa recorded many freestyles and Songs and was on various mixed Tapes such as Seal The Deal Vol. 2. After Coppa decide he wanted to start his own label he left Knock Squad and then began trying to get Da Foundation on the map battling and performing when ever possible. Coppa then began to develop a following and gain the respect of much of the hip hop fan base in his area. After graduating high school Coppa moved to Georgia where he attended Chipola University.    

While at Chipola Coppa started performing for the hip hop scene in Atlanta. While going to school Coppa created a well known name for himself by Locking down monthly battles, winning local ,showcases and performing at every possible event. After several month of performing Coppa was a well-known and respected name in Atlanta where he was able to open up for artist such as Freeway, lil Jon, lil Scrappy, Llyod Banks, Ja rule, D-block and many more........   ,. It was in no time that he began doing collaborations with other local artist and getting noticed by independent labels in the area. Realizing that he had a talent Coppa looked at his music as a Career, Coppa began to hustle to get heard and signed. His first move was to establish his label Da Foundation Entertainment and prepare himself to make major moves. While in ATL Coppa recorded a song Titled Night to remember and gave it to the radio station where it was played often and he got the attention of his now label Tower records. Now Coppa is in the studio and work on the release of his First album Along Way To Go.
